The Snowflakes Fall

Cabin fever has set fully in, and now would be a perfect time to let you in on some news from Adam Young - if there was any. Sure, there's the big spike in Instagram activity with a drop in Twitter use, but as far as new music goes, all I can say is what he's saying - he's almost finished and it's coming to us soon.

There has been a good question floating around the internet, though... What happened to "fall-ish" for the release date? Did something unexpected happen or did Adam just have more music than he thought for the new album/EPs? The world may never know, but it's still a curious question to ponder, and I'll look for as much info as I can to piece together an answer.

With the snow levels reaching close to 2 feet deep in my neck of the woods, I haven't much more to do than search the internet in the hope that maybe, just maybe, there's a shred of new info that I could deliver to you, my loyal readers. But even the courtroom action has died down - I would run a follow-up report but there's no news coming out of the lawsuit. Sources say they will end up giving the $800,000 in royalties to the accuser Ally Burnette, but nothing's for sure at the moment.

And as far as the new music?

"The next chapter of OC is filled with wild goose chases and extraordinary twists and turns — through old familiar fancies and across new frontiers. I’ve been lucky to capture some magical ideas, a few of which are so eccentric, they are borderline strange — dark and beautiful." -Adam Young

Signing off for now,
-Aidan
