Happy Birthday, Mr. Young!

This blog is centered completely around our role model and our friend Adam, and today is his very special day! So, Mr. +Owl City, on behalf of myself and the whole hootowl community, I would like to wish you a very happy 29th birthday! I hope you eat lots of cake and celebrate till the morning comes!

Have a good time! (hah, see what I did there?)

  4. I found them all and it's a pretty good album. I can give you guys a full review after I've digested it for a week, but my first thoughts are that Thunderstruck and Can't Live Without You are the best!!!!- MVB

  5. Is it just me but all the songs seem to be all about saying goodbye- is this Adam saying goodbye to Owl City and leaving this project behind- oh please go no! I keep telling myself that won't happen but maybe....

    1. No there's no way!!! I totally thought that they sounded like goodbyes, but as the last song indicates, and as I am hoping: This Isn't the End. I think he would've said something before the album like, "this will be my last album" or something, but I guess I don't know. He loves making music, and he will do it until the day he dies, so I don't think OC is done, but I don't know. -MVB

    2. No way- I was having the same thoughts too while listening to the record. But I don't think Adam would leave OC since it's had so much success and it's been around for 6 years. But this does remind me after this album, Adam will probably be absent for a long time before he shares any music with us, Owl City or not. Joy- the waiting game begins again.

  6. Yea, as much as I'd love him to just pump out an album a year, I don't he's that kind of person... He'll have another in 2-3 years that's 8 songs long. We just have to look forward to me and my shadow if that movie ever comes out. -MVB
