The Orchestra Has Landed

Good morning, everyone!
I'm writing this on a cool morning underneath a gorgeous viney patio in New Jersey. That's right, I have officially made my way to the east coast - and this is like an exotic land to a kid from Montana.
But that's not relevant right now, because Mobile Orchestra has finally landed on our computers and devices!
Every single song is a beautiful one, showcasing a different part, a different side of Adam. Even the country-themed "Back Home" with Jake Owen is still laced with Owl City's dreamy charm, much like "Honey And The Bee."
"Thunderstruck" is an amazing song to dance to - imagine hearing that one at a concert!! Generally, all the songs have a theme unique to that specific song. And Sarah Russell's voice is gorgeous, like, let's be real.

Now, I'd like to address all of my recent comments at once instead of individually, if you don't mind.
First let me say how much I absolutely love this album, as I know the rest of you do as well. But I'd like to address a common theme that you all are mentioning from the album - "goodbye". I'd like to let you know that I've picked up on it, too, especially in "I Found Love", among others. Many of you are suggesting that this might be Adam's way of telling us goodbye - that he's leaving the project for other endeavors.
But I really don't think that Adam is leaving Owl City. I could be wrong, but Adam is still invested in this project as far as I can tell. Sure the songs project a rather somber, downtrodden message, but he warned us of that, don't forget.

So in summary - I don't think Adam's abandoning Owl City, and I won't think that until he tells us that personally. I just think it's a possibility.

So, with that in mind, what are you still doing here? You should be dancing to Mobile Orchestra on repeat!!!

    1. Wish I could help you there but I have not stepped foot in any concert before- never mind an Owl City one. I'd say regular tickets might be 30-60 bucks and the ticket upgrades maybe 30-50 bucks more. But I have no clue really, I'm sort of rusty on my $'s.

  3. It said the ticket prices will be 25-30 but it said nothing about the VIP upgrade prices. I'd imagine they would be like really expensive or everyone would do it, but I guess I don't know. I hope you are right with the $50 VIP upgrade.-MVB

    1. I hope the VIP's aren't too expensive, tell me when/if you get them. So I can be in awe of your fabulousness and be jealous that your even going to an OC concert- because someone doesn't like touring in the UK!

    1. You are so lucky- my Dad would never do that for me! Buy Adam something Owl/Unicorn based but nothing too expensive. Pls tell him you have a friend over the internet who has never been to a concert before, that she's loved Owl City for six years and she really wants him to come to the UK.
:0D JK- have a good time and enjoy yourself, and say hi from me!

    2. Haha, I feel like maybe I have to get him something weird so he will remember me. Idk, I'll get star struck and freeze up in the moment and not know what to say. Idk, any other suggestions would be much appreciated. I will definitely say hi from glasses anon! -MVB

    4. Just say to Adam how much you've been a fan of him and how you really appreciate the work he has made for us (and himself) Don't fangirl because that's weird, seem cool and calm and he'll remember you, present or not.

  6. The goodbye theme could be a way for Adam to say goodbye to his "old style", or the style that his fans call his "old and good" style.
It could also be a way of saying goodbye to all the expectations he has on himself, that he is just gonna let go and produce the owl city music he wants to, without taking notice of the critisism he's getting from fans.
    Maybe, idk.

    1. Nice to meet you, Coconut!
And you actually make a very good point. He's saying goodbye to his old style, moving on from his past experiences, and not in a sad way either. He's saying it's been good, but it's time to start a new era. And I feel that he's done that very well with this record!
      Welcome to the blog,
